You could try and get a A2362 board which is a memory card for the A2630. (It accepts 112Mb of memory I think, something like that anyway)
One question though, How much memory does your A2630 have? it would have enough to start 3.9 on its own. :-/

Oh PS:
You can have up to 8Mb of memory on the Zorro 2 bus space, that includes whats on your graphics card. I belive the A2630 autoconfigs the memory into the 32bit space not used by the A2K but if it doesnt you have to add that to the total.

there are 4 megs on the accelerator and 4 megs on the graphics card perhaps this is the problem?

I dont know, I would have thought it would have been in 32bit space already.
You say you have an 8up board with 4MB, a graphics card with 4MB but the graphics card would also autoconfig a second card for IO operations at 64Kb, I would think thats the problem.
If it is Im sure you could remove the 8up board and it would work fine and still have more than enough memory for os3.9
If so you could remove 1Mb from the 8up card and boot it at 3Mb (or if not, 2Mb)

There is no need to do a reinstall, just hold both mouse buttons down on restart, go do dh0:devs/monitors and move the cybergraphics or picasso monitor out of the monitors folder, reboot and you should be fine. :-)

As for you not having enough memory to open the screen... cant help to much with that.
As I said, try removing one or two banks of memory chips from the 8up board and see if that helps. (Its a bit of hard work as all of the chips are DIP's)

You could just put up with 256 colours at 800x600 for a while, you never know, you might grow to like it. ;-)

A2632 cards are rare so if may be easier to find a CPU upgrade that can take more memory.. like most/all 040 cards.
Not much in the way of A2000 CPU upgrades on ebay at the moment though. :-/
