Of course you can go to osx86.com to see about it, right now im posting from my intel 945 dual core pentium 4 2.8 "MAC". Im using only osx on my pc from 6 months now and i even can use my geforce 7600 card whitout any problem driving dual displays, even i sell my mac mini

Of course im using the most compatible hardware out there, you have to look around if your hardware could be used.
