A1000 free + shippping
« on: November 15, 2006, 02:16:47 AM »
I am getting rid of all my Amiga stuff. It's all free, but you have to pay shipping and packing. If you live anywhere near Lineboro, MD you can pick it up at no cost. I have seen where these systems in their origional box bring a fair peice of change. If you can sell this, good for you. I hope someone finds it worth while.
This is a partial list:
A1000 in origional box has SupraDrive attached. Also have origional box for Supradrive.
Keyboard, mouse, joy stick,
Manuals, including some schematics
Magazines: Compute gazzett and others
Origional software: games and a bunch of other stuff.
Note: there is no monitor. I am using it for my grandson's playstation.
If this offer becomes a bother for me I'll just toss the whole lot in the landfill.

Thanks to all who have responded. I have contacted a local retail shipper and got basic bark park packing and shiping costs. Packing = approx $30, shiping to calif. (the furthest I could find) $45 for the heavest, down to $15 for the lightest of the 7 boxes. He will take phone credit card orders, so that is the way I will offer it. Please be patient as I am not very proficent at this internet thing. John

If anyone is reading this, please tell me how to post messages on this fourm. I am having trouble trying to figure out how to post. I really want to give this amiga stuff to someone, but am having no luck in posting. I can't find any thing that says "post new message". Thanks,   John

Hi Magic, Sorry,I thought I had sent you a message.
I finally seem to have found how to use private messages. I guess once you get it figured out it probably works fine. I am still hoping to find someone local to pick this stuff up. It is expensive to ship. What the local retail shipper tells me is that it will run close to $200. to ship all of it. That was based on a Calif. destination. There is about 150 Lbs of all the items. If no one near commits soom I will get back to you.  John

All the Amiga items were picked up today. Thanks to all who replied. The person who picked it up drove about 200 miles one way to get here. It was still a lot less costly than having it shipped.   John
