Delfina Lite vs AD516 for mp3 playback

The Delfina is great for playing MP3, plus you get the bonus of having a great soundcard, which the MAS player wont' give you.

I play 192kbs MP3 on my Delfina flipper with no problems, though I did find that having a blizzard SCSI with 128 megs, failed when I tried to boot my A1200 witht the Delfina connected to the clock port. I never found out why, was the same of 2 different A1200 Mobos in a Tower.

Thanks for the great info.  I will get the Delfina.  Perhaps, I'll try MP2's to see if the lesser compression will result in better performance.

It will result in better performance, but also crappier quality

You really only should consider using mp2 if you have a 030. 040, 060 or delfina, use mp3.
