Perl is more than a scripting language today
ActiveState version and zip packages for Win32 is excellent -such a repository for Amiga would be fine !- The main problem is portability of particular modules with OS dependencies. From Linux to Windows, this is sometimes quite difficult..then for amiga...it requires time.
