Hi. I am not giving up.. 
Instead Im taking it one step at a time. Lets start with the emergency disk that isnt working. It loads up, then just before the white workbench bar is displayed it throws an 'invalid resident library' error. then the blue star-pattern is shown, and nothing happens.
Now, I know Im not the only one who's had this problem, so can someone with a similar setup (3.1 a1200 + 060) be so kind to tell me how they fixed it? Perhaps you can even exchange some files with me. (I will return them when Im done, promised)
I have tried the usual stuff myself, ofcourse. Made sure the disk has the latest 040+060 libraries on them. Tried various workbench.libraries (there are 4 on the OS3.9 cd), tried copying the Emergency-disk folder from cdrom to harddrive, so I can use some echo's to find out where it goes wrong (the LoadWB command).
Any other ideas?
Have you tried a different hard drive?
Have you tried not using IDE-Fix? I have plenty of problems with IDE-Fix on anything higher than 3.1, on my A4000T. I have to use the SKIPROMUPDATES scsi.device and all that trash.
Do you really need 120 GB?
