I did it the easy way.  When I used to have my A1200T (sold it to a friend), I was looking for a PCMCIA hardware reset fix so I could use my ApNET Ethernet card in it.  Power Computing sells such a device.  As an added bonus, it also has a reset connector built onto it.  Look here at this URL -> http://www.powerc.com/cgi-bin/psearch.cgi?code=655-0009&rn=375&cid=4&act=gpage

In the little picture they provide, the reset connected is the two pins on the lower-left.  Installation is simple ... it just pushes on over the top of the Gayle chip on the motherboard.  No soldering required.
