I did it the easy way. When I used to have my A1200T (sold it to a friend), I was looking for a PCMCIA hardware reset fix so I could use my ApNET Ethernet card in it. Power Computing sells such a device. As an added bonus, it also has a reset connector built onto it. Look here at this URL ->
