Printing from Amiga web browsers
« on: December 09, 2002, 03:29:20 PM »
O.K.  I apologize in advance for saying this, but printing from Amiga browsers is pathetic.  That being said, I still need to be able to print from them time to time.  I have TurboPrint v7.30 which came with and installed GhostScript v4.03 software for PostScript printing on non-PostScript printers.

I have followed the PostScript printing instructions on Aminet for iBrowse, but I get "Error opening postscript font, Dos error: file not found" messages.  The printing option in Voyager 3.3.122 is disabled.  AWeb-II v3.4 APL seems to have produced the only usable output so far, though it doesn't print images which I need.

So, what is the best Amiga browser to print from, either regular printing or via PostScript, and how do I get it to work?

For me, printing images on web pages from AWeb results in the rectangles with the slash through them.  Kinda the same thing you get on the screen when images have not loaded yet or are turned off.

@ Kent,
Hey, that's an idea.  I have ImageFX 4.5, so I should try that.  Could you lend some assistance by sending your macro to my Email (at the bottom of this message)?  Thanks!

Hey, I was just going to ask you what I should use to actually do the screen grabs.  You beat me to it ... thanks again!  :-)
