eBay is a scam.
Well, it did just let me sell an old copy of VB6 I've had lying around the house for $250, and get me paid the next day with a just a small chunk taken out of the amount. Absolutely no hassle.
It's generally easy to avoid the jerks on eBay, it's just that people get greedy like they always do and forget that yes, some things are too good to be true, or take chances on obviously risky sellers (private feedback types, no paypal types, et. al.) or don't read the fine print about shipping (or any instructions at all...I mean, on one of my recent auctions I had a ton of people asking me to ship overseas when my shipping instructions clearly stated no oversea shipping, etc).
