« on: December 29, 2006, 08:08:09 PM »
In my prefs I have AHI. but running it gives me: requires ahi.device V4

Okay, where do I find the latest ahi archive, tried the ahi homepage, but it is down...

edit: Found it after searching thru tons on aminet. ahiusr was the file.

I setup my concierto in ahi prefs. but when trying to run amigaamp the machine crashed with a guru.

I removed concierto from the os3.9 ahi installer, then it installed fine.

But I still get a guru when trying to play something with amplifier

after a tip from another I tried amigaamp instead. Well, that one does not crash my miggy. When I hit play it starts, but the timer display does not change, it's on 00:00 all the time. And the software does not respond (but the boing ball spins etc, but I cannot access the menu or anything).

okay. I tried several tips I got. And the amigaamp is now playing. But I get no sound.

I just bought the concierto, and I remember the last time I had one there was a backplate with jacks that connected with a ribbon cable. As seen on amiga-hardware.

But I did not get this with the card, and the seller said that you just use the jacks found on the picasso itself. Can anyone confirm this?

If not, does anyone have a schematics for the ribbon cable?

The same guy sold me a picasso IV card.
I just tried to swap my card with the new one.

Okay, the early boot menu displays, but there is bars running over the screen, and general noice in the image.

When wb boots up, no signal is going out at all.

Does this mean a DOA card, or is there any reson that wb devices/settings will not work with another piv card?

Both card are the same modell V.1.2, but I see differences one has components the other doesnt and the markings are som different.

Okay, just to finish this thread.

The Concierto card do work, but not thru the jacks on the picasso iv card. As I suspected. I tried my way around, and found that sound out is on pin 1, 2 and 3 on the flatcable. And it sounds good. Now I just have to make myself a backplate. And an angry mail to the seller.

And I would like some feedback on the picasso iv issue, since it is the same seller (and I also bought a ppc card + bvision from him, that I am yet to test).
