I'll check if it charge, thanks for the tip, I did not know that this might be an issue.

Yes it was very messy around U177.

The previous owner was lucky that this machine ended up here :)

The phono connectors at the back is damaged as well, a wonder that the mainboard is still intact. I'll take som pictures of this as well.

Does anyone have a good tip for a method to fasten the cyberstorm card properly (screw it in place)? I always need to reseat it if I have moved the box.

I used a voltmeter and checked the battery. It has a higher voltage when the computer is powered on, than when its off. That means that it is charging the battery, right?

I am sorry to say that the clock still does not work.

I think AmiDude was right. After closer inspection, it looks like U177 has taken a beating.

Wellwell, I'll have to do with a ntp clock sync on every boot :/

Well, I've seen a lot of pictures of the "coin hack" .All you need is a diode to prevent the computer recharing the battery.

But I like it as similar in apperance as the original.

I have mesured my battery, and I know that it is both charging and have enought stored power. It just does not reach its destination.
