I can confirm that Stunt Car Racer is a no go.

I play Stunt car racer on PS3 every now and then, it surely does work.

UAE is available on PS3, google "uae ps3". Requires custom firmware.

BTW if you didn't know there is a special "060" version of Stunt car racer, better try that one instead of original.

Sorry that I wasn't too accurate what I meant, I didn't remember it was called Turbo-version so I just used "060".

Is the custom firmware easy to downgrade to? I have the original 2006 release of the PS3 hardware. The good one.

Downgrading is impossible I'm afraid, your PS3 must have FW3.55 or older. Many moons back I decided to have one PS3 for experimental use using CFW and another one which is up to date, was a good decision. I have spents COUNTLESS hours watching demos or playing Nuclear Wars and Rockstar ate my hamster on my sofa
