On the night Windows 95 was released we had a local user's group meeting. A friend of mine was giving a demo of his towered A3000 box and was 'dissing Windows 95 right and left in his presentation. Most of what he was saying was philosophically correct but not technically correct. It was that night and that user group meeting that made me realise that the Amiga dream had ended, and not in a google translated French sort of way.
I ran into him two years ago. He ditched his Amiga gear shortly after the turn of the century and was now a PC guy.
