It does work, i have used it with a trackball that didn´t work with my punchinello mouseadapter.
Obviously it doesn´t work with the early startupscreen or hardwarebanging games, but other than that it´s great.
Apple did it right the first time, bring back the Newton!

My trackball was a serial one not an USB so I can´t say if USBmice works.
Apple did it right the first time, bring back the Newton!

Sermouse and a real amigamouse works at the same time so if you have a serialport leftover....
Apple did it right the first time, bring back the Newton!
