Well, I got through a graduate degree using WordPerfect on an A1000 before 2 MB of RAM were even available for it; you can't get much more classic than that! As far as capability, I still think WordPerfect can do more than 99.99% of users will ever need in a lifetime.
Edit: I suppose I should point out that I hardly ever to never use a 'word processor' to enter text. I use a 'text editor', usually the great ne (nice editor), then import it into a wp to tweak it. Perhaps that's why I strangely still like WordPerfect.
I just found a newspaper article on WordPerfect Amiga:
http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1309&dat=19871217&id=W7sTAAAAIBAJ&sjid=gJADAAAAIBAJ&pg=3821,4561977" WordPerfect Amiga incorporates many of Amiga's features which are unavailable with the conventional IBM-compatible system."
