Edpon,
Are you related to Interesting by any chance?

1- Amiga Inc and Hyperion are in a legal battle over OS4. . . my theory
    - - Amiga Truly did want to release a new computer and/or OS, but were bogged down by a legal ( and rightfully so ) obligation to Hyperion. I believe Amiga, in Bill's 20 questions answered to Amiga.Org, mention something about OS5 being released soon.
You mean the OS5 that AInc. claims to have had in development for two years so far, but is just now looking for someone to create the kernel? You know, the OS5 that's being made by elves on loan from Santa's workshop during the off-season?

2- Amiga Inc and ACK join forces to bring you a system for both low end user and power user. . .my theory
    - - Yes they probably do have this in production or close to it. But can they release it to us anytime soon with the legal issues going on?
I'm pretty sure Adam really believes he's working on those systems. I'm also pretty sure he believed he was working on the PowerVixxens and the CPU replacement, both of which he also never presented any evidence of actually having even been designed, much less created to any degree.

I'll spare you the stories of people I've met who have water engines, free-energy machines, and tube-based computers (as in PVC tube/pipe) all designed, prototyped and ready for demo - except for one little hitch that needs to be worked out first. It's my firm belief that the ACK prototypes of these new "systems", they'd be made of gingerbread boards connected by strands of string with pictures of various chips pasted onto it - almost ready for demo!

3- The current Amiga community as a whole. . . my prediction
    - - We need to get back to what we once were; a tight nit, passionate for the computer and each other, supportive group.
Yes, it's time for people to quit dicking around with dead-end OS4 and get back to the REAL Amiga. Fortunately it looks like things are headed that way BIG TIME.

1 - Why haven't any of you addressed the true problem, ( Unless you know somewhere to find this ), about the soon to be Amigas; WHERE do you get any software for it, and WHAT software is there to use on the machines?
I assume you're talking about OS4 software? Keep in mind that the Amiga community is tiny, and that only a fraction of it is interested in OS4, and of those only a fraction have hardware which can run OS4 now, and of those only a fraction are actual developers, and of those only a fraction are actively working on OS4 software.

What's the motivation? It's a given there's no money to be made, so scratch that off - it's not even a remote consideration. The OS4 community has dwindled down to just a few core fanatics and interested onlookers, so it's not like there's much glory or even interest in your code, but when there is it isn't necessarily a positive thing. Bear in mind some of these remaining OS4 fanatics have even been known to try to get in touch with somebody who wrote an obscure AOS application over ten years ago to try to get them to port it to OS4 - they aren't exactly the kind of people whose attention you want to attract! I know the last thing I want is some Nordic guy calling me up at 3:00 AM Saturday morning in 2020 asking me to port a damn calendar to some OS I haven't thought about in ten years. Anyhow, that leaves personal satisfaction of creating something, which is a fine enough motivation but it isn't often that the final product meshes with what the people want to use.

2- Adam, why don't you tell us all how much you're enjoying this thread? I'm sure you're just laughing your butt off at all the people's guessing and arguing with each other.
No doubt he is, this isn't the first time the OS4 community has been the butt of one of his "jokes".

3- Bill or Adam; Humor us, please, just 1 photo of an actual Motherboard of either of the machines, can you do it for us?
ACK doesn't like pictures, silly!
