Amiga 500 PAL display on LCD?
« on: September 06, 2006, 03:15:57 PM »
Hi,

Is it possible to somehow have Amiga 500 push video to an LCD? I have a VGA LCD monitor, and I'd like to use this as video output instead of the Amiga monitor. Is there a way to make this happen?
I would appreciate a detailed answer - the last time I used Amiga was 20 years ago. I was getting Jim Power killed.
Cheers,

Bratek

Sorry, I don't know much about Amiga hardware: Does that mean that Amiga with NTSC video output (I'm assuming this is hardwired into the Amiga box?) vs PAL output would have better chances of working with the adapter (scan doubler/flicker fixer)? I haven't bought the Amiga box yet, I'm just trying to plan the best solution for now. So any info on the best approach for using an LCD with Amiga (maybe either PAL or NTSC) would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
