Amiga to Hitachi Monitor Lead?

Hi!,
    I have a sealed Amiga RGB lead with a 7 pin din at the other end (sorry no pic).
On the packaging it says AMIGA/HITACHI.
I can only assume this was for a specific Hitachi monitor that was compatible with the Amiga?

Any Ideas?????

I'll look out for a suitable TV/Monitor perhaps?
