What's happened in the last 10 years.

Hi All

I have an old trust 1200 in my mother's attic that's been there for 10 years now and I'm wondering what to do with it.

As far as I remember, it was heavily upgraded for the time with 10Mb of RAM, a 40Mhz 68030 CPU + FPU and a whopping 160Mb HD!

In it's final years, it was used pretty much for programming - I had a cpp compiler and a commercial assembler package. I also seem to remember having a 286 emulator running windows 3.11 and turbo C! I also paid for an internet application suite that worked quite well - though I doubt the voyager browser that I was using would render many html pages now.

So back to my question - what's happened in the last 10 years? Has workbench been upgraded yet? Can I use a cheap PC monitor yet (and play games on it)? Can I network it? Will it use my HP Inkjet printer?

Sorry for the ignorance, but I bet a lot of people have the same questions. I have fond memories of those times and would love to know it can still have a place. I would need a decent mouse though - been using optical ones for too long now!!!

Sp please, any sensible suggestions on how to upgrade and start using it again would be welcome.

James.
