For 2 and 3, best bet is
BlitzMax it's by the same author of BlitzBasic II on the Amiga. It's cross platform, works on MacOS X, Windows and Linux. The syntax is a bit different to BB II and you can do much more complicated stuff with it, but it's still easy enough that a former Amos user can pick it up.
