Let me introduce myself, my name's Phil. I started my (long, never ending, expensive, frustrating, fun, delete as applicable) journey into the world of computers way back when Pong came out. I can't remember the name of the console but it was orange and I had to pull it apart to see what made it tick, 'funny, no moving parts!', needless to say it never worked again but i was instantly hooked. I continued up the ladder: ZX81, Spectrum 16/48k, Commodore 64 (never did fancy an Amstrad) Amiga 500, Amiga 500+, Amiga 600, Amiga 1200, Amiga 4000/030 and numerless PC's. All was going great with my hobby, that is until that fatefull day 4 years ago.  I came home only to find I'd been burgled and my Amiga 4000 was gone!, (bas***ds), that felt good let me say it again (BAS***DS!!!).  Through one thing or another . . . okay I was skint, I never got another Amiga and just stayed with the PC. Did I defect? it pains me to say it having been a loyal Amiga supporter but I suppose I did by not getting another, though Amigas have always been close to my heart and always will be.  Anyway I'm rambling, let me get to the reason why you find me here today.  I've been playing around with the Amiga emulator WinUAE and I can't take it any more, I need another Amiga 4000 in my life.  The only problem is I'm having great difficulty in finding someone/somewhere selling one.  Just last night I was outbid on a Amiga 4000/040 on ebay (went for £110).  So, could anyone here help point me in the right direction, there must me somewhere other than ebay to buy an Amiga.

Hi The_Editor,
Shame, I'm nowhere near you being up here in sunny Manchester. Thanks for the invite though and the links.

Hi ACEFNQ,
Now there's two new acronims to me "AOS4/MOS and AROS", I'll have to go do a spot of reading up.  I still want a classic miggy though.
