So really what is the point if there is no hardware to support the OS.

you pre-ordered in 2003??  I have spent many a dollar at Software Hut, from way back til about Six months ago.   So I know it a good shop.

So you really think there is new Hardware on the horizon..

that will take advantage of Amiga OS4  and 4.1?
