euae disks 100% full
« on: March 23, 2009, 04:39:33 PM »
Hey!

I am running an euae setup here, through XAmiga latest (xamiga.net), and I have setup some partitions located in /amiga/OS/...

I have some issues:

* All partitions show up (I`m running AmigaOS 3.9) as 100% full (98.2mb in use). I cant copy large files unto these partitions (object not found etc)
* I can not alter the mouse speed. Acceleration is non existant
* My "Windows" keys doesn`t work, as stand ins for the Amiga keys
* The < and > symbols cant be created, and they key that represents them does not work
* CDRoms doesnt mount
* I on random occations get redraw problems (mouse trails that stay on screen as if i am using a drawing program)
* When moving windows / scrolling, sound stops/clicks
* After installing IBrowse demo, drag`n`drop stopped working in MUI...

I`m running a 2.4ghz system with 1.5gb ram. Hoping somebody here is an eUAE guru =)

I know it is a beta, but euae is not a beta, and the kernel is not etc. So in all, the beta aspect of xamiga is not likely to be blamed for most of my problems.

As for the winuae option, that's clearly different from the xamiga approach, so that's out of the question (and winuae has gotten very buggy lately - *and* requires me to run windows so! ) :crazy:

Basicly, I am hoping that there's somebody who knows how to fix at least some of the issues using euae. :-o  :-o

Edit: I know euae *is* beta, what I ment is that xamiga is running the latest euae version. For that matter, winuae is also beta (perpetually so, just like uae)..

The partitions aren't hardfiles, but folders (filesystem2). Also, I haven't formatted the, they show up formatted.

Perhaps I should try with hardfiles. Perhaps that's better.
