Im installing some OS for testing on a raspberry pi... my question is about raspbian or pi performance, lag on small videos, crispy sound sometimes, low response... is really raspbian unusable sometimes as i see?

Yes... try to see a video with raspbian is impossible, and sound quality isnt good...whats the alternative OS for video, audio and browsing?

Thanks for all answers... im trying to use the pi like a "portable desktop" sometimes not like xbmc.

Then there are currently no OS operating properly on the pi, browsing with iceweasel on rapsbian is something slow and if use gnash is a pain, the problem for me is disable xorg, for people unfamiliarized with linux command line (like me) becomes difficult.

OK linux command line is cool and this tutorial is OK but for play sonic or something, isnt a solution, im trying to browse and this kind of things, you are too positive with the pi in all your post, dont take it bad.
