Computer techs like that are why most busineses are Wintel;the "tech" simply follows Microsoft routine on paper or cd and usually hasn't a clue to how the equipment actually works. I saw a lot of happy, productive Mac users forced to switch to Wintel95 by corporate because of a perceived need to standardize.(and the IT/IS  staff disliked having to support two platforms regardless of utility.)Now  simple interoffice memo that were generated on a networked SE30 ,which incidentally took up very little desk space, now require  a blasted big tower 17 inch monitor and oversized ergonomic keyboard that together use the whole desk! And the interoffice memos don't use 1/100 of the power in the Wintel machine. Most tasks need only a concise note, not a nultipage color brochure.
If the s.o.b.s that run many corporations could run their people through a re-molder so we would all look, sound, and think alike the fools would be thrilled.
