I hate Amiga Inc, they {bleep}ed me up with laywers and police and stole me many of my rare spare time...

Of course they didn't have any legal basis for their claims that you were harming their intellectual property.

That was the point, they just want to blame me offering kickstart files, but that WAS NEVER THE CASE!

They thought they can gain some money (for the Kent Center?), but this was not the case. The evidence a video file? And now? Are videos from amigas not allowed anymore?

By the way, its still working fine... :-D

PS: In the post from Bolton Peck you can read what people like BillMcEwen are thinking about the amiga community. They want to be a company like ATARI (good old name for a new product), but there is still an annoying community with thousands of freaks... In every edge of the internet you can find bad storys, interviews, empty promises, pictures from the headquarter (a mailbox), videos and more about ainc. Do you really think a professional company with access to the internet will ever make big business with them? ;) Thats why they still have only some really bad and expensive games.
Do you really think this company can compare with companys like symbian (www.symbian.com - This is a professionell looking homepage!).

"Violating IP" because someone supposedly patched roms in an A1000...  now that's choice use of a legal team, LOL...
:roflmao:

But this is the true face of AInc. (Apes Inc.) ;)

- pissing on customers
- ripping of investors
- moving never earnd money in strange ways
- blocking native amiga business
- making empty promises
- blaming users that still have fun with 20 years old hardware (in this case A1000)

If JAY MINER or another Ex Amiga Founder could see what this bad company is making with their inventions...

I really like the Amiga, I am Amiga User since 1987 and I have many of them and still use AmigaOS!!! But this company named AInc. is only one of these licence grabbing companys doing nothing as above mentioned!!!

The community has to do their own business, informing customers and investors from amiga inc., so that they will never get in business again... and may hyperion has the chance to take the name...
...and I see the chance that we can win, because we need no money to survive. ;)

How exactly does patching a ROM violate Intellectual Property rights? I did the same thing with my A1200. I patched a 3.1 ROM image with the 3.9 ROM Updates then burned the ROM image to an EPROM. I own both the original 3.1 ROM chips and a full licensed copy of OS3.9. So I'm waiting for a phone call or a letter from their lawyers to tell me exactly which law I have broken. Come AInc I'm waiting!

This will understand nobody! Make a picture or a video and you will get mail from the laywers or the police station next to you...

My fault was to delete the whole thread and never talk about it in the public. I am now waiting since over 9 month for a decision from the german public prosecutor, but this case seems not to be so intresting for them... ;)

I think AInc. underestimates the community!!! If we really want, really, we would be able to show AInc. how strong the community still is...

We are thousands of users worldwide, if only 30% will write an email to the customers and investors from ainc (if there are really some) and if we start talking about the true face of this company, they will never be possible to make a deal in this world...

What you think about a small 1 page homepage, with links to all this nice interview, reports, videos, pictures, promises and so on from ainc?
Such a page would be really intersting for future investors and customers. All the informations we need can be found in the internet on amiga pages... :-D

I do not want to sit an my ass doing nothing anymore, we are the users, WE ARE AMIGA!

:horse:

One more point... Do you know who was the winner of the motorbike from AInc.? Is it right that this was a CEO from an AInc. friendly company near washington?  :-)

Again only faking...

a petition to buy back the name & rights from AInc. I don't know their price

A petition will make no sense after all this years of promises and stagnation. And they will never sell the licences and rights... Please inform you, read all the crazy stuff you can found about AInc. bevor making such good suggestions. :-)

you took down the thread and pics just because they told you to?  I would have left it all up until I was told to LEGALLY by a JUDGE.  Give me the stuff and I'll host it on my personal webserver.  I guarantee you it will stay up. :)

Yes, and I never said something to the community. :(

I am sorry, but after receiving the letter from redsmith.com I was really in fear... They even send the criminal police to me, after they have seen that they have no chance on the legal court way, telling them I have disabled the copy protection from OS3.9 and spreading it!!!!!!!!!  :madashell:

We have done only legal thing using fully bought and licenced things like kickstart 3.1 & os3.9!

Bill asked me to setup a professional business plan for selling kickstart 3.9. If it would be possible to sell 500 units, this would be fantastic! But I have to sold them for 10.000 dollar each unit to to fulfill the claims as AInc them want (500.000 dollar business). This was impossible and still is...

I asked Bill this, after that I never received an email from him...

Think what you want, if someone want to host the video, please contact me...
