OS3.9 manual?
« on: August 03, 2006, 06:38:13 PM »
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of an online manual for OS3.9, or a place that I could download it. When I ordered my A1200 from Amigakit there was no manual for the OS included. I ran a quick search in the forums and couldn't find any thing, sorry if this has been asked before.

Thanks

4gig HD, OS3.9

I think the guy from Amigakit forgot to send me the disk. You see, I knew I wouldn't have a CD rom drive for my 1200 when I purchased it. I asked to have the OS upgraded to OS3.9 and he was nice enough to install it on the 4gig drive for me. I guess I should e-mail him back and ask him to send me the disk. Would I be able to read the manual on my Windows PC?

I payed extra to have the upgrade to OS3.9. That is an option you can chose when purchasing an A1200 from his website. Now although I wouldn't have a CD drive to use the disk, it sounds to me like I should have been sent the disk regardless, since I payed for the extra. I will e-mail him right now.

Thanks for your responses!

Excelent!  I apologize for not paying closer attention to the documentation.

The folks over at Amigakit have been nothing but kind and polite to me. I'm glad I finally get to have my dream computer. Once I have the manual I will be sure to learn as much as possible so I have less newbie questions to dump on this forum  :-D
