A3000 + cybergraphics (vga pass through) + os3.9

I tried installling OS3.9 on my A3000 without a graphics card -- it was terribly slow. Does having a video accelerator like the cybergraphic 64 with video passthrough make this OS a pleasant experience with the same performance as 3.1?

I have 18MB ram currently.

No accelerator other than my base 030. Woudl 24 bit images just slow things down too much.

I'd love an 060 accelerator, but from what I see, I am not ready to pay C$500 for one of these

Is there a write up on the Prometheus? I understand that the vodoo is pci -- so is Prometheus a pci board for the A3000D?
