I love games, so much in fact that I learn't to program and I'm now a software engineer (
personally I think Code-Monkey is a better term) making games!
For me they were a social thing as well as a personal hobby. I've always preferred multi-player gaming like Secret of Mana on the SNES, Super Bomberman, Gravity Force/Power 2 (etc). Even ArmourGeddon from Psygnosis you could play over a null-modem serial link! In fact I think that was probably the first "network" game I ever played :-D Oh god and The Settlers 2 player...
Ah the memories... nope I love games, never understood people who didn't get them
