« on: July 28, 2006, 01:01:05 PM »
Hi guys,
if there were a new AMIGA out there and it would be a typical AMIGA 1200 design how would you name this AMIGA? AMIGA 1500,1400,PUMA? Or maybe another name?

But why a clone. Something much more powerful than the original one isn´t really a clone.

I can´t say it now, maybe tommorow. But think about a new AMIGA featuring hmm, let us say maybe a Motorola 6860 with more than 60Mhz and a brand new custom chipset, maybe some new expansion slots/ports,too? What would you name this.

A1300 sounds simple and good. How about A1300 "The Wolf". Wouldn´t it sound fantastic. Because an AMIGA is a lonely wolf. It´s os is more flexible but also simpler than any other os. In the hardware factor, too. Because no other todays computer would use a M6860 cpu. But you all are totaly right,it´s still fantasy. But more about the "fantasy" tomorrow. ;-)
