BTW, I've done the same with my pc set up for years. Fun being ambidextrous, and it can really mess with co-workers who try to use your desktop.

Same, here.  I had an old boss who used to get pissed because he'd want to use my computer and the mouse was on the "wrong side."

On my desk at home I have my Windows mouse on the left with buttons reverse and my Amiga mouse on the right.  I switch my monitor to whichever machine I want to use and grab the appropriate mouse.  Now if I just had a USB KVM switch (or just KM switch, or maybe just USB) I could use the same keyboard and mouse on both machines.  But I have priorities higher than that, and I rather like my 4000 keyboard.

I have a blind employee at work, who doesn't use the mouse at all. So when I need to help her with something that the text to speech software can't recognize, I usually need to retrieve the mouse from somewhere behind the monitor

So, you're comparing left-handedness to a handicap like blindness?  Ok, fair enough :hat:
