Got it today...methinks you're right!  How do I turn that thing without a key?!  It's in the locked position.

And @thread - the a3000T is HUGE!  ENORMOUS!  It's much bigger than my power tower a4k.  And it's heavy!  The plastic bezel on the front is kind of shoddy...and pretty much ruined.  Oh well.  The thing is still rad.  That battery needs to come off asap, though....looks like some damage

IIRC, the key lock is a normally-open (N.O.) connection and the locked position is closed, thereby shorting the pins to affect the key lock.  So, in theory simply unplugging the key connector from the header should do it.  Otherwise, you can play with a jumper on the header.
