You know, thanks to Doomy, I would be surprised if anything Amiga sells from Oregon ever again... you just can't be sure when he'll pop back up.  And where the frak does he keep coming up with this stuff, anyway?  It's like he has a mine along a thin vein of Amiga.

D'you reckon he actually smashes these things up, or is it just (really lame) marketing attempt?

Agreed: pics or it didn't happen.  Does he still have a YouTube account?  I'm surprised he doesn't get all pissy when something doesn't sell and put up a video, "I told them fekkers on eBay I'd smash this up if no one bought it!!"

Got it today...methinks you're right!  How do I turn that thing without a key?!  It's in the locked position.

And @thread - the a3000T is HUGE!  ENORMOUS!  It's much bigger than my power tower a4k.  And it's heavy!  The plastic bezel on the front is kind of shoddy...and pretty much ruined.  Oh well.  The thing is still rad.  That battery needs to come off asap, though....looks like some damage :(

IIRC, the key lock is a normally-open (N.O.) connection and the locked position is closed, thereby shorting the pins to affect the key lock.  So, in theory simply unplugging the key connector from the header should do it.  Otherwise, you can play with a jumper on the header.
