I have purchased (another story to tell, actually) a USB card reader to fit into a 3.5" bay in my 4000D. This is, in turn, connected to a Deneb USB card. Fantastic setup.
The problem I have is if I insert a CF card, or any other card for that matter, it mounts on UMSD:. Remove that card then insert another card with the same filesystem (fat95) and a new device UMSD.0: is mounted along with a duplicate icon on the desktop. Remove that card and insert another, you get a new device UMSD.1: and triplicate icons. Lather, rinse, repeat.
I have set in the LUN settings of the mass storage device to unmount the partition upon removal, but this behavior continues.
Anybody have a way around this?
