I have to agree, though. Remember the days when megalocorporations were Evil(tm) and Untrustworthy(tm)? What happened to that inherent skepticism? (Wow, my first ever CH post!)
Also, I have done some quick benchmarking and have found no increase in performance, but then all of my DNS servers are internal "root" servers, anyway, so I am not beholden to any ISP's DNS infrastructure unless intercepted at layer three. And when I'm oot-and-aboot I use my own DNS server which has been configured following the numerous DNS security discussions available around the Intarweb.
Oh, and I like how their Security Benefits page
http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/security.html does not once mention your privacy in using the servers. And it isn't specifically addressed in their privacy policy page, either.
