Now needs 020 :( Please change this, it isnt necessary

I dunno.  I noticed earlier in the thread a mention of an "stunnel" file.  If this is using SSL, it probably does require the 020 and an FPU for any semblance of speed.

I have a Solaris 7 machine running on a 40MHz SPARC.  OpenSSL 0.9.8f speed on this is fair and usable if you don't mind waiting several seconds (between four and 10) to validate a 1024 bit SSL certificate.  Then communication over an SSL channel can consume a notable amount of CPU resources.

Not saying it cannot be done on a plain-Jane 68k, obviously it can as the AmiSSL libraries based on OpenSSL 0.9.7g have a compile for 68k, I just have to wonder about performance at 7MHz.
