However, we both know that the 4000 is more fun.   but you know you can put  piccasso IV and phase5 060 in the 2000 making it a fantastic machine... don't you wish you had one like that?

I have a Blizzard 2060 and have put my Picasso IV in it.  I put the PIV back into my CS-MKIII 4000D, and a Spectrum 28/24 in the 2000.  The performance just isn't there.

I think we've speculated in another thread before about what it would take to expand the 2000 in Zorro III or PCI fashion.  In the end doing so would require a realization of what seem to be several pipe-dreams, and would just end in what should be better Amiga hardware.

There are several accelerators with local 32-bit buses -- off the top of my head I can think of the GVP 040 Combo (2000) and the CS-MKIII (some kind of PCI,) then there's video cards with PCI buses (P-IV, maybe others,) but none of them truly capitalized upon.

The main exception in my mind would be the bus in the CS-MKIII, to which you can connect a video card or the G-Rex PCI bus (for which I would just about give a vital organ to own, or maybe just some blood plasma :-))
