Let's see, so far I've met:

Fester
MarcFrick2112
Nubbins
Timbaahb

...and I *think* that's it. If you've met me and I cannot remember, must have been too many beers ago  :pint:

Have NOT met Kvasir yet. He moved to the same town I live in and I think the 4th Ward (shady part of town) ate him up. Haven't heard from him in a coons age!

Everyone's been great and there's a good handful I've "met" online that are spread out across the globe I *feel* I know, from conversations, et al. Lot's of common denominators in this hobby to be sure.

I tell people I'm deaf and that's the end of the conversation. They get uncomfortable and walk away to find someone else to talk to.
How rude! While I'm sure it stings, it *is* totally their loss. I know I'd NEVER walk away from you Cammy  :)

You're a great communicator every other way and hell, what's so hard about writing notes, reading lips or taking turns typing in Notepad on the Amiga.

Seriously, communication today is a joke no matter who can fully hear or not. Despite the modern times with all these silly handheld devices and cell phones, most people only seem to hear what they want and the rest don't even know what to do with the info you've given them verbally anyway.
