I'm with you on the appreciation of the international community thing for sure. Amiga has done more to promote that kind of goodwill and relationship building than any other computer platform I know of.
Besides dealing with all things PAL, I learned a good deal about NTSC video work as well. When you think about it, *most* people still do not know squat about editing their home movies or adding titles. Dumping a video into the computer and performing post-editing has become second nature to me now, but I don't know too many people that can say the same.
Moving forward, the Amiga community is still very much alive obviously and I'm learning new things about its spinoffs almost daily. Speaking of spinoffs... anyone else catch the MorphOS usage on 'V' last night? I could have sworn I saw the familiar icons and video player on a Mac laptop that the Fifth Column was using...
