I think as long as the magical keyboard ROM switching thing works with the 600, it'll be fine.  I have a single chip in my 600 with 1.3, 2.05, and 3.1 Kickstarts on it and they all work, though it's being switched with a plain old hardware switch.

Tone, you have a 1.3 ROM in your A600? Was it hacked to include scsi.device or do you just use it as a floppy system?

For those that don't have multiple Kickstarts and switchers, there's this disk I remember from back in the day (I don't believe it's on Aminet) that you insert at startup - turns your OS2.x, 3.x system into a 1.3 system. Even survived resets, had the white Kickstart hand screen and all that. Anyone remember what this was called? I know I have a copy of it somewhere, but it's been a while since I used it.
