No reason why it can't be done. Boot up your favorite TCP client (I use Miami on my Miggy's) and away you go! Might have to fiddle with some settings, static DHCP, password and all that - but probably not. Only problem I've ever run into (and its not the Amiga's fault) is most of these high-speed cable providers only assign you one IP address. So, if like most of us, you need to switch between computers a lot, you'll need a router or simply reset your modem every time you move the cable from computer to the other.
