Most things have been covered, so my guess is based on my wishlist more than anything, but being that discreetfx have a bit of a video background it's not completely unrealistic a guess, and that's some sort of rtg gfx hardware for 68k classics w/o the need for pci busboard, zorro slots, etc.

IMHO, I believe that prospect is way too ambitious a project for just about anyone to tackle these days. Same goes with most any video, audio or CPU upgrades. Besides, Jens/Individual Computers and GVP already have those bases covered.

Nah... I'm thinking something much, much simpler and universal here. Especially the way they verbalized the rollout: "help you get more enjoyment out of your Amiga". With emphasis on 'Amiga'. Period. Not every Amiga has a Zorro/Fast/Video slots (some models have surface mounted CPU's too), so I'm thinking maybe some kind of a new DB9 input device, a joystick or something that has already been mentioned.

Maybe an external FF/SD, external removable mass media storage (perhaps off the parallel port) or... ?

Absolute best upgrade for ANY Amiga would be to patch gaming software that relies on pressing 'UP' to jump, to a discrete button on a 2+ button pad or joystick and completely removing the instruction that allows a jump when accidentally pressing 'UP'. Either way, can't wait to see what it is

RGB to s-video adapter
You think? S-Video or Component would be nice. If so, I hope it'll play with both PAL/NTSC modes nicely. If not, guess I'll be sticking to my trusty RGB monitors.

My coundown just ended. "It's finally here!". So i guess they're not releasing 00:00 norwegian time. :P

Their website countdown says 00:00 on your browser? Hmm... I'd assume the cat will be out of the bag by Chicago Central Standard Time.

Hahahahahah, I *knew* it!  For anyone that is disappointed, I think it's really funny - the way they hyped this. It's obvious they have a sense of humor  :)

No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill here people, you should have known better!  lol
