Agreed. AND a very common practice. Also speeds things up a little bit. I've never had a problem reading/writing Amiga floppies between machines no matter what system they've been formatted with. 'Cept my "new" A3000. The HD floppy drive in that machine is the pickiest when it comes to high and low density disks.
