Give the user DJBase here a shout. He currently produces Kickstart adapters for the A1000. Then just track down a 16-bit Kickstart ROM from somewhere if the dealers do not have them. Amigatoaster on ePay usually has some:

An A1000 has only 256KB Kickstart 'WOM', so you're limited to Kickstart 1.3 w/o modifications. It's rather easy to add a real ROM with 2.x/3.x though, someone here was selling kits afair.

How difficult would it be to add another 256kb to the WOM of that Daughtercard? I've seen all sorts of RAM upgrades throughout the years for various systems that included very little modification to the circuit. And if I'm not mistaken, I even saw one where the 256x4 ram chips were piggybacked! lol  Despite the ROM adapters available, I think it would be cool to have a 512kb Kickstart Disk (3.1 for example) that needed to be loaded to maintain the original "feel" of the machine.

Naturally, there's that excellent MultiKickstart program that boots both 1.3 and 3.1, but that requires ram expansion and said ram has a specific address it requires (2091 ram ala a slingshot adapter does not qualify).
