If you have a GVP SCSI card in your A2000, then scsi.device is not what you need. You need to go into the tooltypes of your CD0 icon and make sure it is pointing to gvpscsi.device. Only when you use Commodore's built in IDE or A2090/A2091 do you use scsi.device.

I've never spent much time with 2.0, but look in your sys:devs/storage/DosDrivers folder for CD0. I've never had to use a third party (such as ASIMCDFS) CD ROM controller program on any of my Amiga's, so not sure if they are required on 2.x or not...
