Thanks for the heads up! With very few exceptions (and tongue in cheek), who's buying original games anymore anyway? lol

(btw: I do and will when the price is right and they are complete)

@2600
Original Amiga and Commodore games still sell pretty well especially for popular titles as people often seek the game packaging, manuals and disks they remember using when they originally owned the systems. Just take a look at ebay...

Although there are alot of resources online, which cannot be spoken of, that contain archives of those same games... Its not the same as the real original game & packaging  most collectors would agree... For those who just like to play them its a different story...

Thanks Trip - my message was in no way condoning pirating (but lets face it, with the exception of maybe a few RPG's and a Psygnosis game or two, Amiga software is not very "valuable" for these reasons). I'm all for ownership of originals and I have an entire library filled with them. Here's just a sampling... I'm so proud, I keep all my boxes on display in my game room for quick and easy access  :-)  lol

Indeed, a sweet collection... if I ever had room to keep such things, I would probably be collectting stufff... but made a personal rule long time ago... sell old gen to fund next gen purchases.  This cut cost to move up and keep storage to a mininum....

What do you do when you regret getting rid of a system to make room for the new? I've made that mistake so many times in the past. It's one of the reasons I'm in full-blown collecting mode again. lol  Seems I'm enjoying the older stuff more than when it was current!
