But yeah, I do miss pinball out and about. There are a lot of reasons why said machines are no longer "commercially viable" as you put it, but there is a large following in the private sector for them. Even in your own country - a chap has bought the rights to re-manufacturing certain titles from Williams. He's taken some peoples money up front in fact and doesn't seem to be producing any results other than pissing people off.

Lawnbowl I've never really seen, but I get shuffle puck bowlers from time to time and those are great fun. Just got through restoring a 1952 Chicago Coin Triple-Score in fact. They're usually the hit of a gaming party.
