Does changing the tooltype affect the screen mode as well or just the timing? I'd assume both, but I ask because I find it much easier to simply run Degrader before playing any WHDLoad games. Switch your system to either PAL or NTSC and you don't have to mess with any individual game settings AFAIK and the dozens I have tried all play at the correct speed and a single display (PAL or NTSC, whichever you originally chose in Degrader).

You've gotta place WHDLoad itself into the C: directory for all to be good.

If double-clicking a games icon does not work, check it's attributes. It may be pointing to somewhere else besides SYS:C
