Are you trying to setup ethernet or wireless?

I've got different experience regarding Genesis, AmiTCP, EasyNet.
I had been struggling hard setting up any of them. Every time I had tried there seemed to be some problems.
On the other hand I've never had any problems with Miami, MiamiDX or my favourite TCP/IP stack, RoadShow. With RoadShow I've had no problems at all on any of my Amigas, starting from A500+ with Plipbox, A600 LAN&WLAN, A1200 LAN&WLAN ending on A4000 with Ariandne II and MorphOS 1.4.5

Yes, I'm pretty sure of that.
I've never ever had any problems with Miami, MiamiDX, RoadShow.
I've managed to setup both LAN and WLAN cards without any problems with Cnet, Cnet16, 3c589, Prism2 - WPA/TKIP and WPA2/AES.
Still I consider Miami, MiamiDX and RoadShow to be the best TCP/IP stacks.
But you know as they say - it's all a matter of preferences.

Ok, here is a little update on what has happened so far:

First i was into the idea of installing "BetterWB". But i then realized that with my "Viper 1230 LC" accelerator card installed i could instead go for OS 3.9. The only thing missing was the Kickstart 3.1 roms. So i got those from Amigakit.com. Installed 3.9 and then the "Boingbags" 1 to 4 (in correct order of course ;) ) and that is where i am right now.

And i also have some new questions:

What exactly is Picasso96? And do you need it on a real 1200 with no extra graphics cards installed?

My second question is. After that i had installed the kickstart 3.1 roms, the CF-PCMCIA adapter stopped working. Although i have so far only tried it under the previous (original, NOT "classicWB") 3.1 installation. And to get it to work again i had to set the accelerator cards jumper to 4MB instead of 8MB of ram. But that is obviously not what i want, especially now when i have 3.9 installed! So is there a way to get around this? Or will it work again if i install the "ADAPCMCFL" disk in 3.9? Is that safe to do? I mean, is it compatible? Or do i now have to get a completely new accelerator!?

Picasso96 is a RTG system, video drivers for the GFX cards. You need a gfx card to use it.

To put long story short.
1. Viper 1230 LC is not a PCMCIA friendly accelerator. In order to use it with Kick 3.1 you'll have to set it up to 4MB
2. Kick 3.0 doesn't check if there's something in the PCMCIA memory address. Therefore you were able to use your CF-PCMCIA adapter and/or PCMCIA WLAN/LAN card.
3. Yes, you'll need a new accelerator - PCMCIA friendly, e.g. Blizzard, ACA, etc. anything that supports more than 8MB Fast Ram.

Have a look here as well - Long story ;)
