Does 1230scsi.device support drives > 4 GB?
« on: October 25, 2006, 09:08:13 AM »
Hi all, I have been struggeling to create a SFS 1.263 partition on my 18 GB SCSI HDD which is connected to my 1230 SCSI-controller. The partition is about 2 GB and resides "at the end" of the disk. I used HDinstTools to create it. When trying to SFSformat it, I get an error like "unknown DOS-Packet-Request-Type". Am I missing some kind of patch here? Will 1230scsi.device support SFS partitions beyond 4 GB at all? I installed SFS to the RDB and set the DOSType to "0x53465300", what I didn't change were the values of MaxTransfer, Blocksize and the like, could this be an issue? Might be a question for you, Thomas.  ;-)
