Connecting Win2k to Amiga via null-modem
«

Hi all,
I have been trying to connect my win2k machine to my amiga via the serial port so that my amiga may use the internet connection my Win2k machine has. I thought it might be possable by setting up 2k to "Accept Incomming" connections and then using Miami to connect in. No such luck.
Does anyone have an idea on how I could connect the two together in such a fashion?
Cheers!

I assume that RAS is on the CD?
As for the DUN and NULL problem, I am broadband (lucky me :-)) so that shouldn't be a problem!

Do you know the file name? the only one I can find is PC2am308.lha and that is just a file sharing type thing. I need to access the net from the Amiga (mainly to acess aminet! :lol:)

@chris
I have been trying to use that but I can't get the two to connect up. The instructions are for Win9x and may not work with 2k :-(
Don't suppose anyone has a (really) cheap PCMCIA ethernet card they want to sell me? :lol:

I have tried all that has been suggested, and all I can get is when I click "online" with miami and "connect" on W2k is the Miami window saying "Client" and then repeating it.
So they are comunicating, but not connecting

thanks Chris,
I can't find a "Generic NULL Modem" on the system. All it has is "Communication Cable Between 2 PCs" and then all the "Standard xxx bps modems".
